Biography

Okediran, Babatunde Samuel is currently a PROFESSOR of Veterinary Biochemistry, in the Department of Veterinary Physiology and Biochemistry, University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria. He started is academic career at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta as an Assistant Lecturer before transferring his services to University of Ilorin where he rose through the ranks to become a Professor. He served the University in various capacities as former acting Head of Department, Veterinary Physiology and Biochemistry and currently serving the University as a member of senate, member Business committee of senate,  faculty coordinator students industrial work experience scheme (SIWES) and currently coordinating Veterinary Biochemistry in the faculty just to mention few. His area of research interest is in Veterinary Biochemistry most especially in Veterinary Biochemical Toxicology, Xenobiotics and Clinical Chemistry. He has published widely in reputable journals in all areas of Veterinary Biochemistry.
