Veterinary Physiology and Biochemistry
Olaifa Folashade Helen is an Associate Professor at the Department of Veterinary Physiology and Biochemistry, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Ilorin. Her research focuses on understanding the physiological responses of animals to environmental stressors, with strong emphasis on animal welfare. She investigates the impact of climate change and other environmental factors on animal health and well-being. She is currently examining the physiological and behavioural responses of animals to environmental stressors and developing strategies to mitigate stress and improve animal welfare. She is interested in collaborating with researchers in Environmental science, Animal behaviour and Conservative biology to advance our understanding of Animal physiology and Welfare.
