Dr. Adakole Sylvanus Adah

Veterinary Physiology and Biochemistry
Adakole Sylvanus Adah is an Associate Professor in the Department of Veterinary Physiology and Biochemistry, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Ilorin with more than a decade of university teaching, research, and administrative experience.
He has served as Head of Department, Sub-Dean Clinics, Postgraduate Coordinator, Times Table Coordinator, and Faculty Seminar Coordinator. His research interests include exercise physiology, chronobiology, oxidative stress, and developing suitable antioxidants to ameliorate the effects of oxidative stress.
He has to his credit over fifty publications in peer-reviewed journals and edited conference proceedings. He has successfully supervised two (2) undergraduate projects and co-supervised one Masters dissertation.
Dr Adah is a member of many professional bodies within and outside Nigeria such as the Nigeria Veterinary Medical Association, Physiological Society London and the Nigerian Physiological Society.
